Use this dialog tab to receive and handle the material returned from customers on Return Material Authorization lines. The alternatives for handling returns of inventory registered parts are, either to scrap the returned material or to return the material into inventory. You can also enter returns of non-inventory parts. When all the parts on a return material authorization line with non-inventory parts have been received, the line will be automatically closed. There is no standard movement type or process that allows you to post customer return stock directly to scrap in one step and bypassing inventory receipt. SAP requires the return to be accounted for first, then scrapped, to ensure proper valuation, traceability, and compliance. We did the ‘Receive parts’ in the RMA line, but afterwards saw that the quantity in the RMA was wrong, so we have returned back too much in the inventory. @Stalmans94 You cannot reverse or cancel the returns once you receive from the RMA. You can count out the quantity or scrap the quantity. Perhaps the following steps will assist to undo the RMA that has been received. 1.
