In a time where AI threatens every form of art, it’s nice to turn back to what we are capable of creating, and we were overjoyed to see how many submissions we received this... It is with this in mind that we present to you the 20th edition of MUSE, for you to read at home, at work, or in your favourite coffee shop ! Take a break, sit down with some friends around a cup of tea, coffee, or hot cocoa and enjoy the wonderful work of your fellow students.

This issue will make you see the colour blue differently with our opening chapter : the writing competition, a wonderful display of our English section’s creativity. We’d like to take a moment to thank the jury for reading all the beautiful texts and giving us detailed feedback, and let’s not forget Books Books Books and their generous competition prizes ! Since 1997, MUSE has provided the highest quality STEAM (that’s science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) content for kids who love to learn. MUSE is a Magazine for UNIL Students of English. It is a magazine by students for students and staff as well. The magazine was created in September 2009 by Sarah Jones Moloney. First coming out only in print several times a year, MUSE fully entered the 21st century with the creation of its very own website in 2014. From then on, the editorial committee has alternately published a web and a print issue of the magazine.

The publication schedule and frequency has varied slightly over the years, but ever since 2016 MUSE has consisted of a web issue that comes out in the autumn semester, and a print issue that... A selection of documents is available online. Our archives contain documents produced by UNIL entities after 1945.
