March is National Craft Month, and I am celebrating by participating in xTool’s Craft No Limits Challenge—and I invite you to join in the fun! xTool is shaking things up with a fun challenge featuring 10 unique creative themes and 15 different material or format options. Participants will spin a digital roulette to randomly pair a “Theme + Format” combo, then use xTool machines to turn their vision into reality. The best part? There are no limits—just pure creativity as makers mix and match themes with materials to craft something truly original! For my craft, I got Wood and Easter, so I decided to make something fun to add to my kid’s Easter baskets.
I wanted a project that was simple yet entertaining, and that’s how I came up with my own Easter Tic-Tac-Toe Boards! If you’d like to make your own, I’ve included a full tutorial along with a Free SVG cut file for you to use. For this project, I used my xTool S1 40W Laser. While you can use any xTool laser, keep in mind that cut settings may vary depending on your machine. The board consists of two layers of wood, plus cut-out words on top and individual game pieces. Each board measures 5.14 inches wide by 5 inches high, making them the perfect size to tuck into Easter baskets.
Since I used 12×12-inch wood boards, I was able to cut two complete Tic-Tac-Toe boards per sheet! Published: May 2, 2024 by Sean · As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Here's how to make it! I recently got an xTool P2 laser cutter and have been playing around with it a lot. I mean, I spent all that time setting it up, I wanted to dive in! I learned about the existing xTool Creative Space where you can find all sorts of pre-made files to build tons of amazing crafts and projects. But, I wanted to see how difficult it would be to create my own file in the system to learn how all the settings work. 10+ Easy xTool Projects with Easy to Follow xTool Tutorials
If you are looking for the best laser cutter around, then you need to get yourself an xTool! This machine has a ton of features and it won’t break the bank! I have had my xTool M1 machine for 4 months now and I LOVE it and am addicted to creating with it. If you are curious about all the details and features of the xTool, then check out my xTool review and xTool guide here. This post isn’t really about reviewing the machine, it’s about showing you all the easy xTool projects you can make. This is a round up of all the projects I have made using my laser cutter.
Alright lets get started with the awesome and easy xTool projects! Each one has a very detailed xTool tutorial to go with it. I walk you through the process of making them, so even if you’re new to laser cutters, I help each step of the way. These laser cutter crafts were all made with the xTool M1 machine. Both the 5w and 10w lasers can make all of these crafts, the 5W machine might take a little longer to cut out and/or engrave. The xTool has a lot of features, it can cut, engrave and score lots of different materials including wood, metal and acrylic.
It also has a blade for cutting, so it can cut vinyl, paper and more. It really is a cool machine, like I said before, it’s the best laser cutter around! Let’s start with one of my favorite xTool feature- engraving! Once you start engraving things, you will want to engrave everything! The first time I engraved metal, I was hooked and went around my house looking for other metal things to engrave. Nothing is safe in my house anymore.
Engraving is an easy process, you can even engrave photos or images found online. <img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="300" height="251" src="https://thequietgrove.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Free-Easter-Tic-Tac-Toe-SVG-1-300x251.jpg" class="attachment-medium size-medium" alt="" srcset="https://thequietgrove.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Free-Easter-Tic-Tac-Toe-SVG-1-300x251.jpg 300w, https://thequietgrove.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Free-Easter-Tic-Tac-Toe-SVG-1-768x644.jpg 768w, https://thequietgrove.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Free-Easter-Tic-Tac-Toe-SVG-1-150x126.jpg 150w, https://thequietgrove.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Free-Easter-Tic-Tac-Toe-SVG-1.jpg 940w" sizes="(max-width: 760px) calc(100vw - 96px), 720px">
